In recent weeks we have seen several instances in the Black tourney of questionable play. This post is to address these issue.
The first issue is the taking of control points while not in the designated area. These areas are marked by a circle, yet we have heard of individuals who have found ways to take these points while not in the designated area. This practice is unacceptable. All control points are to be taken from within the circle, not from behind walls, pillars or down stairs. You are to take the point from it's intended spot and that is within the circle. This also includes the planting of bombs in demolition. The bomb is to be planted in the designated area, the circle.
If a clan is found to be taking any control points from anywhere besides the designated area or planting a bomb outside the designated area, your clan will forfeit your war.
The second issue is the practice of purposely team killing in a suppression map. UF does not condone this practice. While some may say this is strategy we feel it is not a representation of the environment we want here at UF. We feel to use such a tactic not only dishonors your opponent, but the tournament as well. If your team has been found to use this tactic, you will be warned. Repeated warnings of such tactics will result in negative sanctions against your team. These can include expulsion from your current tournament as well as exclusion from any and all future tournaments.
